Let’s hear it for Leo!

A lot of our pupils take part in extra-curricular activities and we love hearing about their triumphs. In a great example of showing determination and hard work, just before Christmas, Leo had a grading for Ju Jitsu – which he passed! He also earned his Red Belt and a certificate. To earn his Ju Jitsu Red Belt Leo had to work hard, attend practise and pay careful attention to what his Sensei (teacher) was telling him to do. This shows fantastic commitment and perseverance from Leo! Learning a new skill can be challenging and it is wonderful that our pupils show such determination both inside and out of school.

During our Achievement Assembly on Friday 11.02.22 Leo treated the school to an exciting demonstration of some of the skills he has been learning in his Ju Jitsu lessons and the crowd were in awe of his moves! Well done Leo and thank you for sharing this fantastic achievement with the school.
